Senga Hill Town Council held a community sensitization meeting in Kalukanya Zone aimed at empowering residents with critical information on various ongoing and upcoming district activities.
Key highlights of the meeting included guidance on the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) application procedures and as communities prepare for the 2025 Senga Hill District Sports Tournament, participants were also briefed on the ongoing registration process for sports clubs, with a call for increased participation across disciplines.
Further, the Council intensified awareness on HIV and AIDS prevention, encouraging community members to take advantage of available health services. Preparations for the upcoming HIV Testing, Counseling and Treatment (HTCT) Day, scheduled for 15th August 2025, were also discussed, with an emphasis on community mobilization and participation.
